  Mission Statement: Saving Arm of God ministry will strive to reach those that are in life changing situations by providing the glorious message of a loving and saving God through His son, Christ Jesus. Objective is to focus on health, medical and nursing facilities where individuals will be ministered to on biblical teachings and principles. Our hope is to provide a wonderful saving message that will encourage, enlighten, bring comfort and strength as well as a life changing purpose. Minister  David Martinez is an Ordained Minister / Chaplain with Christian Chaplains State of New York and  Founder of Saving Arm of God Ministry. Chaplain David is  a volunteer at SBH  Health System  St. Barnabas Hospital in Chaplaincy Department.

On the onset of COVID 19 pandemic, Chaplain David quickly re-established relationships with Prodigal Center in Hunts Point, Bronx and Manna of Life ministries in the South Bronx. Both locations have stepped up their response in providing groceries, curbside soup/food pickup as well as direct car deliveries of groceries to home-bound Bronx residents who are disabled, elderly or COVID 19 quarantined. During this pandemic Bronx residents have been sharply impacted and are not only in need of physical relief In food but more importantly spiritual support.

The Restoration of God’s Love Ministry is to reconcile individuals back to God through the recognition and the channeling of His Love by acquiring a relationship with Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. We use prayer as the most essential element and foundational source in allowing the Holy Spirit to minister to the people’s hearts to establish an intimate relationship with God and His Son Jesus Christ in bringing about an effective change to one’s life. 

Our ministry offers prayer, and the understanding of God’s promises through Biblical Scriptures, that are fulfilled in Jesus Christ.  We assist those that are experiencing the bondages, viceand challenges of life through addiction, depression, loneliness and isolation for the adult population beginning at age 20. Bio for Ordained Minister / Chaplain Edward Burroughs     Founder of Restoration of Love MinistryI came to accept Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior in 1982. In 1992 I attended Times Square Church until 2005. During my stay I served with the Children’s Ministry as a Sunday school teacher, the Ward’s Island Homeless Shelter Outreach (evangelistic outreach), World Challenge Missions going on 5 short term missionary trips (Mozambique, two trips to Russia, Nicaragua, and Macedonia). I am currently at Brooklyn Tabernacle since 2005 and I serve in the Prayer Band (as a prayer intercessor), Men’s Ushering Team, and the Keeper of God’s House Ministry (light cleaning). Exposition 

“The threat today is the influence of the world and the earthly mindedness it brings.” (Andrew Murray, 1828-1916). It has been over a century since this was written and reads like it was penned yesterday. We are living in the time described by the prophet Isaiah as gross darkness.(60:2) The immense perils of uncertainty has shaped the nature of unbelief, and has penetrated   the people’s hearts and mind, and covered them with a layer of skepticism.  

“And because iniquity shall abound the love of many shall wax cold” Mathew 24:12 

God’s Love is forgotten, lost and smothered beneath the debauchery and degradation of the customs and standard’s of our present day society and fear has taken full precedent. Our Lord said that in the last days: “Men’s heart will fail them for fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth” Luke 21:26 

Amidst the turmoil and upheaval that is evident in today’s world three facts remain true * God is sovereign. * God is still on the throne.  * God is love. His love remains inexhaustibly available now as it was on the hill of Golgotha, when He sacrificed His Son for the sins of the world, so he could provide us access to eternal life as His inheritance. 

“Come now and let us reason together says the Lord. Though your sins are like scarlet, They shall be as white as snow, Though they are red like crimson, They shall be as wool”.  Isaiah 1:18 

“I, even I, am He who blots out transgressions for my sake; and I will not remember your sins”. Isaiah 43:25 

“For the mountains shall depart and the hills be removed.But my lovingkindness shall not depart from you,Neither shall the covenant of my people be removed,Says the Lord who has mercy on you”.Isaiah 54:10

God’s Love remains steadfast, unshakeable, immoveable, and unchanging concerning us, despite our failures, rebellion, and waywardness.

“For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, can separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord”.Romans 8:38, 39

The loving arms of our Savior are stretched out to receive all and any who would come to Him.“My Father who has given them to Me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of my Father’s Hand”.John 10:29
